About JEM Bodywork Therapy and Jason

 

 

Getting people like you out of pain since 2012!

 

 

JEM Bodywork Therapy was started in 2012 by Jason E. Moore.

In the following 12 years, it has operated in the Oakland, CA; Portland, Oregon; and now Swansboro, North Carolina. 

Jason uses Visceral Manipulation in his practice primarily, a methodology developed by French Osteopath, Jean-Pierre Barral.  Having completed 6 courses with the Barral Institute and as a teaching assistant, this work opens up solutions to digestive, traumatic injury, and lifelong ailments that other methods could not solve.

Jason initially trained and certitifed in Manual Therapy and Somatic Studies at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. Also, studying Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. In Oregon, Jason was a manual therapy apprentice for two years under Darryl Burch in the osteopathic methodology of the Muscle Energy Technique and in Trigger Point Therapy.

Jason is an Orthodox Christian and is pursuing a Masters in Orthodox Theology and its holistic approach to healing all aspects of a person - body and soul.  He is happy to be living near his parents and enjoys daily walks in the parks and beaches of the Crystal Coast.
